These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Frosty World LLC ("Coinhost", "we", "us"), a Delaware limited liability company, governing your use of the Coinhost website, the Coinhost Wallet application, and our consultancy services (together, the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Bitcoin self-custody software and of our Services is lawful in your jurisdiction. You may not use the Services if doing so is prohibited where you live.
The Services and any content we publish are for general informational and operational purposes only. Nothing we provide is financial, investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. Bitcoin is volatile and carries risk, including the risk of total loss. You are solely responsible for your own decisions. Consultancy engagements provide professional guidance but do not transfer these responsibilities to us.
Recovery operates only as described in our Security model, including a seven-day cooling period with alerts and one-click cancellation. You can export your vault's output descriptor at any time and use it with compatible third-party wallets, independently of us. We are not responsible for funds lost through your loss of keys, your failure to maintain backups, or your use of third-party software.
Website access and the beta wallet are currently provided without charge. Any future wallet pricing, and the fees for consultancy engagements, will be disclosed before they apply (consultancy fees are set out in your engagement letter). Bitcoin network (miner) fees are never set by or paid to us.
The Services, including our software, content, branding, and the Coinhost name and logo, are owned by Frosty World LLC or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for their intended purpose. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
The Services rely on third parties (for example, Apple, Google, hardware-wallet vendors, and infrastructure providers) and may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for third-party products, terms, or content, and your use of them is governed by their own agreements.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", and the beta software in particular may contain errors. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Frosty World LLC and its members, officers, and personnel will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or Bitcoin or other assets, arising from or related to your use of the Services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Services in the twelve months before the claim, or US $100.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Frosty World LLC from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Services or your breach of these Terms or of applicable law.
You may stop using the Services at any time; because the wallet is non-custodial, you can export your descriptor and continue independently. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if necessary to protect the Services or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for disputes is the state and federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
We may update these Terms as the Services evolve. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
